Nobitex is secretly controlled by members of one of Iran’s most powerful families and maintains close ties with the newly appointed Supreme Leader. Under these individuals’ leadership, the exchange has evolved from a startup into a central node of Iran’s parallel financial system, designed to circumvent Western sanctions.
